ARLINGTON, Va. – Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the nation’s largest independent hotel management company, now falls under the management of Hotel Acquisition Company, LLC.  Hotel Acquisition Company is a 50/50 joint venture between subsidiaries of Thayer Hotel Investors V-A LP, a private equity fund sponsored by Annapolis-based Thayer Lodging Group, and Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Company Limited.  The transaction was valued at approximately $307 million.
