BALTIMORE — IT services firm ANALYSYS reported the positive results of a trial for Windows 7, the Microsoft operating system set for release October 22^nd.  Windows 7 started up in as little as four seconds and is able to run on older hardware and with applications previously confined to Windows 2000 or XP.  ANALYSYS conducted the test on behalf of small businesses, many of which are customers throughout the Anne Arundel region and would be less likely to purchase new hardware.
