ANNAPOLIS – Technology Assessment and Transfer, Inc. has signed an agreement under which ArmorLine will manufacture the company’s Spinel Transparent Products. Developed with federal support, Spinel is a transparent ceramic armor and optical solution with a variety of applications. Military uses include tactical and combat vehicles, while commercial markets are aircraft, trains, bar code scanners, watch crystals, cell phones and PDA devices. Armorline will have Spinel on display March 3 at an invitation-only event in Washington, D.C.
