ANNAPOLIS – Zephyr Technology has received an investment from Motorola Ventures, the venture capital division of the communications equipment conglomerate. Motorola sees value in the firm’s offering that monitors real-time health status in hazardous situations pertinent to sports, defense, first responders and healthcare. The physiological and biomechanical monitoring is based on the company’s Smart Fabric technology that combines fabric-based sensors with algorithms and electronics.
