LINTHICUM – Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems’ work on the U.S. Marine Corps’ Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) has passed a key milestone with the conclusion of a formal critical design review. The prime contractor on the $256 million program, Northrop is developing the mobile multi-mission radar to replace five ground-based radars. G/ATOR will provide a variety of functions for longer-range Air Force and Navy applications and shorter-range ones for the Army.
