ODENTON – With more than a half dozen manufacturers producing eReaders, accessorizing them has become a strong business, too. For the Sony Readers PRS-505 and PRS-700, M-Edge Accessories has launched a line of protective jackets that open like a book and offer device protection in a plush padded case. In the roughly two years after Sony’s October 2006 introduction of its eReader, it sold 300,000 units.
