COLUMBIA – The Health Facilities Association of Md. and the Md. Hospital Association have gotten together to reduce the occurrence of pressure ulcers in the state’s skilled nursing facilities and hospitals.   The groups will offer health professionals the latest techniques for preventing and treating pressure ulcers, for which treatment can cost $55,000, and to become certified in wound care.
