LAUREL – The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) has begun construction of a building set to house the space department.  The five-story, 200,000 square foot structure is set to open in mid 2011.  Building 200 as it’s known, a $60 million project, will consolidate staff that are distributed among more than 20 buildings.
