COLUMBIA – The first In-Progress Review meeting was held for the BRAC Business Initiative (BBI), an effort by the local counties to provide tools and resources to small and minority businesses as they pursue federal contracts related to the Base Realignment and Closure program.  Aided by a U.S. Dept. of Defense grant, BBI is tracking the activities of 21 test companies, along with their interaction with advisory companies and partner firms.   Other review meetings and classes are scheduled this fall for BBI participants and the public.
