I always take issue with companies that say their executives have a combined experience level of decades or hundreds of years.  You can’t accumulate experience longer than people live, especially when factoring in their non-working lives.  And that expertise is spread across different areas, so how does that solve my problem as a customer?  It’s about as meaningful a statement as saying you’re the thinnest kid at fat camp.

But, when a company has been in business for many years, then I know they can adapt and execute well.  Such is the case with our newest advertiser, Whiteford Taylor Preston, LLP.  It started in the Great Depression and has come through the Great Recession still having more than 150 attorneys.  About one quarter of them made the cut for the 2010 list of Maryland’s Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. HANOVER – Conmed Healthcare Management earned a record $14 million in Q4 and $52.8 million last year, increases of 14.9% and 30.2% respectively.  The provider of correctional facility healthcare signed several new and renewal agreements during the period.

BWI AIRPORT – The airport, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration and AirTran Airways today is demonstrating a new inline baggage screening system constructed for AirTran.  The inline system is the result of a two-year $39 million project to create a way to accommodate growth at the airport’s second largest airline.
