GLEN BURNIE – The North Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce is awaiting a settlement date for its new office space at 7439 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.   The Chamber expects to move within a year after renovating the 1920-era building so that it will have a community resource center and conference room available for local group meetings.  There also will be space available for subleasing, according to CEO Fran Schmidt.

ANNAPOLIS – In its second acquisition in a week, wireless provider TeleCommunication Systems has purchased Sidereal Solutions, an Atlanta-based source for satellite communications technology, operations and maintenance and support services.  The deal was concluded for cash, approximately 244,000 shares of TCS Class A common stock, and contingent consideration based on the business’ gross profit in 2010 and 2011.  Sidereal has been a business partner of TCS’ government solutions group since 2007.

ANNAPOLIS – Non-profit TRACE has introduced the TRACE Compendium, an online database of summaries and analyses of international anti-bribery enforcement actions and investigations throughout the world.  Users can get the latest enforcement trends according to country, category type, such as cases involving gifts and hospitality, or by those with a compliance monitor.  TRACE aims to help lawyers, executives, academics, civil society and the media with this review of anti-bribery enforcement activity.

COLUMBIA – JPB Enterprises, Inc. has formed subsidiary JPB Real Estate Services, LLC as a full service commercial brokerage, construction and asset manager and institutional advisor.  The offerings of the new entity will target the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast U.S.

ANNAPOLIS – Zenoss has launched version 2.5 of Zenoss Enterprise product, the open source tool that allows management of physical, virtual and cloud-based infrastructure.  This latest version includes enterprise-level scalability features as well as expanded management support for datacenter technologies and platforms.

ANNAPOLIS – South River Technologies has made available version 6.0 of its GroupDrive Document Collaboration Suite.  The new version includes FIPS 140-2 certified SSL engine for secure transfers that comply with government standards, as well as client support for Windows 7 and a new Macintosh Client.

SEVERNA PARK – Legacy Brands Holding, Inc. intends to develop a vertically integrated and horizontally focused holding company that through future acquisitions will offer a product line in sport fishing equipment and supplies.

ANNAPOLIS – iJET Intelligent Risk Systems has named Mark Donohue as overseer of solution implementations, ongoing client projects and support services for iJET’s Professional Services Group.  In his previous position as senior program manager he supervised government and commercial programs for enterprise risk management, consulting, assessments, intelligence and analysis, emergency response and resiliency services.
