ANNAPOLIS – ARINC has enhanced its Electronic Borders security suite to include full compliance with new Electronic System Travel Authorization (ESTA) requirements of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Customs & Border Protection. Effective January 12, 2009, it became a requirement for international travelers from 34 Visa Waiver Program countries to submit personal identification data electronically in advance of departure for the United States. Compliance with the new ESTA rules has become an operational concern for international airlines and the travel industry.

ANNAPOLIS – Zenoss added 110 new enterprise customers for its commercial open source and network monitoring systems. Among the additions were Carlson Travel, Tyco Electronics, Cap Gemini, Formica and iStockphoto. The company also secured an additional $4 million from Silicon Valley Bank, which brings its yearly total to $15 million from funding partners Grotech Ventures, Intersouth Partners and Boulder Ventures.
