ANNAPOLIS – The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau has started a Volunteer Ambassadors program to direct visitors to city attractions.  The initiative kicked off to support downtown businesses for two specific events: the Downtown Annapolis Partnership’s Sundays at City Dock, which features performances from 11 – 4 pm through Sept. 27, and the Annapolis Business Association’s Market House Festivals that are slated to take place from 11 – 6 pm the third Sunday of each month through Oct. 18.  The volunteer information specialists are stationed outside Market House in royal blue aprons.
